Whether you are established in your walk with Christ or just beginning your journey, we'd be honored to walk with you. We're a friendly, non-denominational church in rural Howard County, diverse in ages and backgrounds. We'd love to see you this Sunday morning!

The last few years, we have experienced God working at Oakland on a whole new level! Our congregation is growing. Our building has been expanded and remodeled. You will not want to miss this!

NEWS AND INFORMATION

  • ​You won't want to miss our next all-ages fellowship event: our annual Harvest Party! Join us September 27 at 5 PM for an all-out pumpkin decorating contest with categories for carved, or painted, in both the 13-adult division and a junior division up to age 12! Bring your plain pumpkin and a chair. We will have hot dogs and s'mores for the bonfire, snacks and cider, activities for the kids, cornhole, and more! All are welcome.​​
  • The Oakland bulletin has gone digital! Check out this week's announcements, link to give at Tithe.ly, quick access to our Facebook page, and resources! Scan the QR code around the church or navigate to our Linktree at https://linktr.ee/OaklandChristianChurch. While we will still have paper bulletins, they will be scaled back so we can better serve our congregation!  
  • Prayer Requests and updates have moved to a text system. If you prefer a call, or would like to volunteer to make calls, please let us know. To be added to our call tree or prayer request texts, send an email with your name and number to OaklandChristianOffice@gmail.com​
